As a member of the Infrastructure Service Management team, the Infrastructure Transition Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day scheduling of IT project related tasks and the processing of IT change requests associated with the data centre infrastructure that underpins our SaaS offerings globally.
The role requires great attention to detail, with the ability to follow process and apply logical thinking and problem-solving skills to the tasks undertaken. The role also requires confident communication by someone who can collaborate with others, deal with changing priorities, and manage their own workload in an often-high pressure environment. The Infrastructure Transition Analyst is a key administrative role in delivering quality services to our customers as quickly and efficiently as possible, by ensuring processes are followed and our records of data are accurate and complete.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Scheduling

- Evaluate all planned system and network requests coming into the team, ensuring all required information is received
- Assess resource availability (people & system) and schedule planned work tasks to fulfil the request as quickly and efficiently as possible
- Monitor deployment progress and work with deployment teams to mitigate issues, taking necessary action to ensure timelines are maintained
- Provide communications to the business/customer on progress and completion, along with dealing with communication of issues where necessary
- Ensure all systems of record are up to date and correctly reflect resource availability and tasks scheduled
- Change Management

- Evaluate submitted Change Request Forms (CRFs) ensuring all mandatory information is completed
- Manage the CRF through the change process, steering the request to the appropriate Change Approval Board (CAB) meeting for review and approval across infrastructure stacks
- Issue notifications and reminders relating to approved changes, and monitor and manage responses
- Follow up completed changes, highlighting issues for CAB meeting review where necessary
Disaster Recovery Testing

- Assist with the scheduling of Disaster Recovery Tests and High Availability Failover Tests
- Coordinate with Customers and internal infrastructure and non- infrastructure teams as required
- Assist with production of documentation relating to DR/HA plans, tests, and follow-ups
- Ensure all systems are up to date and accurate
- Administrative Support

- Support the Infrastructure Service Management team with other tasks as required to ensure coverage of service and completion of team accountabilities
Experience
- Previous experience working as part of an IT Project or Transition Team in an analyst role preferred, or as a process driven Analyst/Administrator in an IT environment (infrastructure preferred)
- Understanding of Project Scheduling and Change Management workflows
- Experience of liaising with Customers, dealing with technical teams and leadership
Skills
- Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and at all levels in a professional manner
- High level understanding of IT infrastructure components
- Confident communication, logical thinking, problem solving skills
- Planning, negotiation, decision-making, and governance skills
- Organised and able to multitask
- Strong practical experience and understanding of:
- SalesForce/ServiceCloud
- Microsoft Office (M365)
- OneDrive
- Sharepoint
- Knowledge of ITIL processes advantageous
