What is the purpose of the role? 

 

As Delivery Manager, you are responsible for delivery of successful projects to our customers across different markets. Develop and lead the Consultancy and Project Management team in delivering Professional Services projects to our clients and to focus on increasing the competence, productivity of our Associates and the performance and effectiveness of the team.  

Engaged in the Sales and Project delivery cycle, gain stakeholders trust and confidence in Keyloop’s ability to deliver and ensure all projects are adequately defined, scoped and supported by appropriate and acceptable contracts. Take oversight for all projects assigned to the team and be ultimately responsible for successful delivery to agreed schedule, commercial and quality commitments, attending customer steering meetings (where required) and acting as customer primary escalation point as required.  

Managing Project Managers and Lead Consultants, you will work cross functionally to engage all areas of the business to align effectively to support the needs of our customer and projects, balancing conflicting priorities to the benefit of the customer and Keyloop.  

The Delivery Manager is well organized, articulate, detail-orientated and commercially aware, with an understanding of business operations, and able to lead and delegate effectively. You take pride and responsibility and have the drive to make things happen to get the job done.  

This role is key to us delivering a first class service to our customers, and requires excellent people and project management capabilities as well as exceptional communication skills. You are an experienced professional, with the drive and experience to make a difference. The role requires an experienced Leader with Delivery Management skills, capable of mentoring and developing the team, managing the cross functional relationships internally, with Co-Delivery Partners and being part of regional PS Management team. You will be expected to challenge the status quo and identify, promote and execute improvement opportunities on a regular basis. The role requires presence, passion and energy.   

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities  

 

Strategy & Planning  

  • Optimal provision, planning and deployment of expertise and skills, for both current/future demand, to meet Time to Value, commercial and customer expectations 

  • Translates Keyloop strategy into an actionable plan to ensure optimal provision of highly valued skilled resources, to meet business objectives 

  • Develops (alongside other functions) the successful leverage of various skills pool venues, to ensure immediate and future business needs are optimally met 

  • Applies appropriate measures for individual/team results, skills development and retention  

  • Ensure compliance with the legal requirements for associates as per specific requirements 

  •   Alignment, collaboration, and execution of delivery as agreed with PS Ops & Transformation team. 

  • Works with leadership team to ensure clear communication of strategy, targets, and results/progress  

 

Results Accountability 

  • Lead team(s) comprising of expert Consultant staff to deliver services that meet commercial Corp/Functional objectives and goals 

  • Manages performance of teams against plan/budget and supports accurate revenue forecasting 

  • KPI’s focus and adherence (billability, utilization, rework, CSI, project profitability) 

  • Sets high standards of performance for self & others in delivering results and meeting commercial targets 

  • Encourages and rewards innovative problem solving 

  • Drives results through planning and measurable objectives 

  • Uses data to make decisions to drive the business 

  • Clearly articulates challenges/opportunities in meeting/exceeding set objectives

Skills/ Knowledge & Experience 

  • Proven track record of successful people management, leadership skills and people development. 
  • Must be very strongly process-driven with a track record of successfully handling considerable change and the ability to work under pressure. 
  • Commercially aware with very strong analytical skills. 
  • Must have the ability to define and maintain standard end-to-end business processes for the business vertical and work with product team to create efficiently deployable products. 
  • Knowledge of the Automotive industry (desirable, not essential)  
  • Ability to advise, persuade and influence people in a professional and effective manner 
  • Must be able to plan and deliver multiple tasks simultaneously and to effectively organise workload. 
  • Must demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Open for challenges and striving for continuous improvement, motivating, and engaged 
  • A team player who is influential and builds good working relationships across all functions.  
  • Flexibility, integrity and problem-solving skills are a pre-requisite to be successful in this role 

 

 

Qualifications and languages 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equal work and thinking level 
  • Leadership training and certification 
  • PRINCE 2 or PMI certification preferred 
  • Language skills appropriate for region and English
