Purpose of the role

 

The Delivery Acceleration Specialist role plays a critical role in setting the PMO, Delivery and Co-Delivery teams up for success by prescriptively shaping best practice in the industry. 

 

They are experts who are accountable for creating and ensuring all the artifacts are available for all products (i.e., configuration documents, checklists, calculators) and providing onboarding Product training to our new starters and co-delivery partners.  They are internally and externally recognised as a business contributor as well as industry and product specialists. 

 

Partnered with the PMO, Delivery and Co-Delivery teams, the Delivery Acceleration Specialist will align to ensure they prioritise their work based on the backlog, pipeline, and single points of failure to ensure we focus on the highest ROI.  They will maintain an executive relationship with the Head of Co-Delivery, Module Leads and Head of Projects offering proactive and prescriptive advice, resulting in right first time and outstanding customer success. 

 

This will include the following:

 

  • Creating all standard documentation for all products required pre-install, during install and post-install. 
  • Developing and providing product master class programs to train new starters and co-delivery partners 
  • Maintain a standard documentation repository aligned with the rest of the business. 
  • Carry out onboarding for all new starters in PS including co-delivery partners. 
  • Update the skills matrix with the new products.  
  • Provide and share monthly roadmaps on when documentation will be available. 
  • Support and be part of the Delivery (and Co-delivery) community to enable knowledge sharing and problem solving. 

 

Role Responsibilities 

 

  • Deliver high client satisfaction by consistently meeting/exceeding goals and metrics. 
  • Creating and maintaining all standard documentation for all products required pre-install, during install and post-install. 
  • Carry out onboarding for all new starters in PS including co-delivery partners. 
  • Developing and providing product master class programs to train new starters and co-delivery partners up to consultant level.
  • Bring best practices to each engagement through your deep platform expertise by providing the Professional Services team with Subject Matter Expertise related to the proposed solution and client needs to ensure successful project delivery. 
  • Align closely with PMO, Delivery and Co-Delivery teams by offering templates, artifacts, knowledge, and training. 
  • Successfully manage multiple strategic priorities simultaneously 
  • Show continued professional growth and development. 
  • Act as an advisor on complex issues for Delivery and Co-delivery teams 
  • Partner with the PMO, Delivery and Co-delivery teams to drive continued growth of services and product knowledge. 

 

 

Skills / Knowledge & Experience 

 

  • Must be very strongly process-driven with a track record of successfully handling considerable change and the ability to work under pressure. 
  • Commercially aware with very strong analytical skills. 
  • Training, coaching and knowledge transfer skills. 
  • Knowledge of the Automotive industry (desirable, not essential)  
  • Ability to advise, persuade and influence people in a professional and effective manner. 
  • Must be able to plan and deliver multiple tasks simultaneously and to effectively organise workload. 
  • Must demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Open for challenges and striving for continuous improvement, motivating, and engaged. 
  • A team player who is influential and builds good working relationships across all functions.  
  • Flexibility, integrity, and problem-solving skills are a pre-requisite to be successful in this role.
