Role Purpose:
As the new Area Sales Manager, your primary focus will be authorized car dealers and similar automotive businesses in Norway. Your responsibility will be to promote and sell our portfolio of software and other related services, mainly based on recurring revenue contracting. You will be awarded a customer portfolio of 75 - 100 car dealers, broken down by brand and as well as prospects for new business.


You will be responsible for the development and implementation of all aspects of sales strategies in relation to your customers and are a key person in the sales team. Your time is expected to be spent as a mix with both existing customers and new clients, where you develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, management teams and employees. You manage your own time based on priorities identified in collaboration with Sales Director, Nordic West.

 

In order to manage the sales process, your pipeline, budget and activity rate we will ask you to work with Salesforce ® as a primary tool. We are part of a larger international company with associated systems and reporting, and you will therefore use Sales Force (CRM system) as a primary work tool and in connection with e.g. pipeline, budgets, frequency of visits, monthly forecast, quotation etc.

 


The team:
You will become part of the Nordic region org, which consists of approx. 70 employees, the vast majority of which are based in Vejle (DK). The sales team consists of 10 people including 5 Area Sales Managers in Denmark, Norway & Sweden, as well as Inside Sales Support and Marketing, both of which support you in your daily work. Although it is a demanding role you won’t be left to do it on your own. We have years of experience in leading the market and are looking for someone who can add value to the customers while enjoying our market leading position. We are a flexible workplace where there is freedom under responsibility. The person we are looking for:

  • Is positive, self-driven, curious, persistent, systematic, structured, and keen to work in a busy environment where things move and change constantly.
  • Ideally, you have knowledge of the car industry and experience with both the sales and aftermarket processes at a car dealer. Alternatively, you may have experience with sales within IT, leasing, or finance.
  • Is an experienced sales professional experienced in BTB sales of complex solutions / able to scale and present likewise.
  • Proven track record in building long-term customer relations. 
  • Has good command of English and solid IT skills.
