Role Purpose

 

The PS Ops organization is an enablement function within Professional Services that defines that a suite of tools, processes, methodologies and best practices, that are designed to support colleagues in regional teams to deliver consistent and positive outcomes to Keyloop’s Customers. To ensure these outcomes, appropriate levels of monitoring and governance need to be applied across the delivery portfolio in order to identify and mitigate risk across the Customer lifecycle that Professional Services is engaged.

As the Methodology Transformation Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing effective project management practices across our organization. Leveraging your expertise in project management methodologies and your strong leadership skills, you will drive the evolution of our project management processes (SureStart), to align with industry best practices and optimize project delivery outcomes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to assess current practices, identify areas for improvement, and spearhead the implementation of new methodologies and tools.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Methodology Assessment and Analysis:
    • Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of existing project management methodologies and practices within the organization.
    • Identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Develop a roadmap for the transformation of project management methodologies, outlining key objectives, milestones, and timelines.
    • Define clear strategies for implementing changes and gaining buy-in from stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Methodology Design and Implementation:
    • Design tailored project management methodologies that align with the unique needs and goals of various business units and projects.
    • Lead the implementation of new methodologies, including the development of training materials, workshops, and resources to support adoption.
  • Change Management:
    • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and change readiness within the organization.
    • Provide guidance and support to teams and individuals as they transition to new project management practices.
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
    • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the new methodologies and track progress against transformation goals.
    • Analyze performance data to identify opportunities for further optimization and refinement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including project managers, team leads, executives, and external partners, to ensure alignment and support for methodology transformation efforts.
    • Communicate progress, challenges, and successes to stakeholders through regular updates and presentations.

  • Time to value contribution through the rapid start of new projects.

Skills / Knowledge & Experience

  • Clear evidence of problem solving and the ability to balance pros and cons of competing options or solutions.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams to embrace change and drive results.
  • An experienced people manager with a demonstrable track record of hiring and growing functions.
  • Pro-active attitude, especially in the context of aligning and balancing cross functional priorities.
  • Demonstrable experience of commercial decision making
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly develop effective working relationships with internal and external project teams.
  • Experience of working with Project management tools and platforms (MS Projects, Teamwork, MS Office)
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, etc.
  • Proven experience 5 years in project management roles, with a focus on methodology development and transformation within a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans, set clear objectives, and execute against them in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with change management principles and practices.
  • Experience of the Automotive Sector highly advantageous

 

Qualifications and languages

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM) is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Fluent in English mandatory, another European language preferred
