Role Purpose

The Global PMO organization is an enablement function within Professional Services that defines that a suite of tools, processes, methodologies and best practices, that are designed to support colleagues in regional teams to deliver consistent and positive outcomes to Keyloop’s Customers. To ensure these outcomes, appropriate levels of monitoring and governance need to be applied across the delivery portfolio in order to identify and mitigate risk across the Customer lifecycle that Professional Services is engaged.

The Methodology Transformation team is leading the transformation and perpetual adoption of the Surestart Project Management Methodology. When launched some years ago, Surestart was adoption within the field and used consistently across the regional PMO teams. However, due to changes in management and an evolution of the needs of a delivery methodology; Surestart is no longer consistently used in all projects. This is led to a negative Customer experience in some cases and reliance on the individual skills of competencies of Project Managers.

Reporting to the Methodology Transformation Lead, the purpose of this role is to play a vital supporting contribution to re-invigorate Surestart through enhancement, re-adoption, monitoring its effectiveness and driving a perpetual continuous improvement process. This role will work in partnership with regional colleagues to align common goals and achieve successful outcomes.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Reviewing existing templates and artefacts within the Surestart methodology and bring up to date with the latest corporate branding and update with modern graphics and other visual tools.
  • Creating templates and artefacts to fill identified gaps in the methodology.
  • Harvest completed artefacts and templates for projects that have been completed and identify and propose usage of new templates; create re-usable templates.
  • Undertake audit of templates and artefacts on completed projects, provide a findings presentation to regional teams and their leaders, including recommendations of adoption of methodology templates and best practices.
  • Use of translation tools to ensure that English templates can be converted into other languages that enable the Surestart methodology to be used Globally.
  • Stay informed and updated on industry best practices on Methodology creation, management and adoption to drive continuous improvement of Surestart.
  • Build enablement content on new methodology content and participate together with other SMEs in meetings to share the content with the regional teams.
  • Actively participate in quarterly planning meetings with the Methodology Transformation team to identify and prioritize upcoming Surestart enhancements.
  • Be an active member of the Global PMO team, contribute ideas and suggestions on improving collaborate with regional colleagues as well as observations on how we might improve our customers experience of engaging with our Products and Services.

  • Time to value contribution through the rapid start of new projects and their completion on time and within budget.
  • Positive feedback from cross functional stakeholders and implementation teams
  • Survey responses for internal enablement sessions on the Surestart methodology
  • Demonstrable continual improvement of all documented processes

 

 

Skills / Knowledge & Experience

  • Prior experience in a similar role with other software vendors or system integrators.
  • Clear evidence of problem solving and the ability to balance pros and cons of competing options
  • A clear sense of being part of a team that supports each other to achieve common goals.
  • Pro-active attitude, especially in the context of aligning and balancing cross functional priorities.
  • Demonstrable high-level of communication, facilitation and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrable experience of commercial decision making
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly develop effective working relationships with internal and external project teams.
  • Experience of working with Project management tools and platforms (MS Projects, Teamwork)

 

Qualifications and languages

  • Fluent in English mandatory, another European language preferred
  • Project Management experience, ideally from a system integrator or other software vendor
  • Experience of the Automotive Sector highly advantageous
