Purpose of role

Reporting to the Information Security Director, the Principal Security Architect creates and designs security for Keyloop’s infrastructure, maintains documentation, and develops architecture patterns and security approaches to new technologies and initiatives.

Location

This role is flexible in respect to working location and work can be home based, hybrid or in any Keyloop office.

Role Responsibilities

As the Principal Security Architect, you will need to:

  • Act as the central point of contact within Keyloop with regards to Information Security cloud strategy.
  • Lead the design and implementation of the company cloud first strategy.
  • Collaborate across application and infrastructure teams including Architecture, Design, Engineering, DevOps to influence, create, and review solution design documents and advocate security best practice.
  • Create and maintain security architecture patterns and reference Security architecture patterns.
  • Continually review and extend Security Playbooks and preventative controls in line with a continuous improvement framework.
  • Collaborate with internal DevOps and DevSecOps security champions and teams to help provide support & guidance around adopting security by design ethos in the development lifecycle.
  • Support the continuous improvement of Keyloop’s security operations for monitoring, testing and, where necessary, conduct security implementation review audits.
  • To deliver technical and risk-based reports and official papers relating to test findings, aligned to an agreed framework.
  • Provide consultation for changes required for the Keyloop security risk register, CAB and Architecture Review Board meetings.
  • To drive security innovation in through R&D and adopting latest technologies.
  • Research/evaluate emerging cyber security threats and ways to manage them.
  • Test and evaluate security products.
  • Understand and interpret legacy infrastructure and design
