As a Senior Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing end-to-end solutions that seamlessly integrate Salesforce and NetSuite with other enterprise applications. This role requires a strategic mindset and deep experience in architecting complex systems that unify Salesforce’s capabilities with NetSuite, ensuring robust, scalable, and cohesive solutions that align with our business objectives. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, developers, and enterprise architects to ensure interoperability and adherence to best practices across platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Solution Design
- Lead architectural design and development across Salesforce, NetSuite, and integration layers, delivering cohesive, end-to-end solutions that meet both technical and business requirements.
- Serve as the Architectural Authority for Salesforce and NetSuite integrations, partnering with ERP and integration experts to establish a consistent architectural approach.
- Salesforce, NetSuite & Integration Architecture
- Define and oversee integration patterns and processes between Salesforce and NetSuite, emphasizing data consistency, security, and performance optimization.
- Establish and enforce architectural standards across Salesforce, NetSuite, and integrations, covering data governance, security protocols, and system interoperability.
- Strategic Road mapping & Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Business Sponsors, and Application Managers to build and maintain a technology roadmap that aligns Salesforce and NetSuite capabilities with the company’s strategic goals.
- Engage with stakeholders to identify and resolve system gaps, driving a unified platform experience that aligns Salesforce and NetSuite functionality with business processes.
- Technical Governance & Best Practices
- Develop and uphold architecture principles and standards for Salesforce and NetSuite, guiding all solution designs to align with code migration, DevOps, and CI/CD processes.
- Establish frameworks for scalable and secure solutions across Salesforce and NetSuite, ensuring all integrations adhere to industry standards and best practices.
- Innovation & Optimization
- Identify opportunities to innovate, reduce technical debt, and enhance performance across Salesforce and NetSuite.
- Advocate for new technologies and best practices within the Salesforce, NetSuite, and integration ecosystems that address evolving business needs.
- Mentorship & Collaboration
- Mentor and support the Salesforce and NetSuite technical communities, ensuring adherence to architecture principles, best practices, and standards.
- Act as the Design Authority for cross-functional initiatives, ensuring architectural alignment and successful integration across Salesforce, NetSuite, and other enterprise systems.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strategic Leadership & Influence
- Proven ability to lead architectural discussions and drive technology transformation, effectively influencing stakeholders with clear business value articulation.
- Expertise in Salesforce and NetSuite
- Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and delivering solutions on Salesforce Sales and/or Service Cloud, along with hands-on expertise in NetSuite ERP.
- Strong understanding of integration best practices, middleware, and data management between Salesforce, NetSuite, and other enterprise applications.
- Technical Skills & Development Standards
- Advanced proficiency in Apex development, object-oriented programming, architectural design patterns, and awareness of Salesforce Governor Limits.
- Expertise with CI/CD, DevOps, and source control, supporting complex Salesforce and NetSuite implementations in enterprise environments.
- Cross-Platform Integration Knowledge
- Extensive experience in integration architecture, web services, and API management, with hands-on experience in ETL tools and middleware to support Salesforce-NetSuite interoperability.
- Proficiency in data modelling, data migration, and relational database design as applied to Salesforce and NetSuite integration.
- Project Methodologies & Interpersonal Skills
- Strong background in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with the adaptability to lead projects in a hybrid approach for cross-functional systems integration.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize business objectives.
